Djakout Mizik was not active or created in 1993. Djakout Mizik was a Dominique Lauture band back in 1986 where Shabba, Pouchon, Roro, Mamane, and T-Regi was not even part of the band due to the fact Djakout wasn't a full Band. Back than it was a Digital Band. Fabrice Rouzier was the one who came up with the name Djakout Mizik since the band was formed at the same time as Mizik Mizik. Djakout first performance was at Konkou Mizik American Airline with their first single Delivrans. Then in 1987 Djakout Mizik was part of the Sharp album along with Zekle and Claude Marclein who joined the band later. Songs that were from Djakout Mizik in the Sharp Album were Lespwa and Soley Poko Leve. In 1992 when Gracia Delva enter the band, Djakout became a full band. And their first official album Dedouble came out in 1993 along with Pouchon who wasn't as popular in the band back in 90s because Gracia was very talented during Djakout years. Djakout Mizik first carnaval was originally released in 93 but due to the departure of Gracia Delva they did not came out sou beton an. But Pouchon who replaced Gracia re singed the Carnaval sou do in 96 followed by Kapote in 97. Now Djakout is now divided in to two bands. You have Djakout Mizik and Djakout #1.

Correction, Djakout Mizik was not formed at the same time as Mizik Mizik. Djakout Mizik was a high school band with Dominique Lauture, Maxence Denis, Pierre-Henry Limouzin, Keke. When the guy separated after high school, as some left the country to study abroad. After graduating college, Fabrice joined Tabou Combo, after the death of Ernst Marcelin. Mizik Mizik was created after Fabrice left Tabou Combo in the early 90's.

So you're saying that both Keke and Fabrice were in two bands? 1987-88 Keke was still in High School and was not in two bands.

    DJAKOUT - MIZIK of 1986-87
was a merger of 2 groups
DOMINIQUE LAUTURE & CO = DJAKOUT
    N
    FABRICE ROUZIER = MIZIK MIZIK
who did one song together to participate in the AMERICAN AIRLINES contest
they went under the combined name of DJAKOUT - MIZIK.
dis is how the name DJAKOUT MIZIK was created
after dat they they continued to perform seperately

i don't recall attending any DJAKOUT performance at the time
    HOWEVER
MIZIK MIZIK yes, n they did an impression on RATla at the time wit their sound, they had many KASSAV n ZOUK songs in their repertoire and their singer GARY DIDIER PEREZ sounded very ANTILLAIS at the time, dat was the trend in the country right after the TSUNAMI KASSAV did its ravage

Thanks for the video, Mizik Mizik was created before Djakout but Djakout became a performing band before before Mizik Mizik, which dormant while Fabrice was studying and performing with Tabou Combo.

Most people forget about that first album from Mizik Mizik, myself included. But I can tell you for a fact that Gary Didier Perez was performing with Zenglen during that time circa 1988-1990, because mwen manjé anpil baton paské mwen te kon sové poum al nan Zenglen nan Club 54 I think. So what you were experiencing with Fabrice and GDP i'm not sure what it was.
